Mitch Lucker 1984 – 2012

Mitch Lucker has died.

 Suicide Silence front man Mitch Lucker passed away on Thursday 1st November following injuries sustained by a motor bike accident in Huntington Beach, California. He was rushed to University of California, Irvine Medical Centre after crashing into a light post on his Harley Davidson Motorbike. Police are investigating the cause of the accident and whether alcohol played a part.

“There’s no easy way to say this,” the band said in a post on Facebook. “Mitch passed away earlier this morning from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident.”

Mitch Lucker, 28, from Riverside California formed the band Suicide Silence in 2002 with his friends. They released their debut album The Cleansing  in 2007 and following its success, released the albums, No Time To Bleed  and The Black Crown. Suicide Silence received a Golden Gods award for Most Innovative Band and Best New Band.
